About Bainbridge Irish Wolfhounds
Located in Southwestern Ohio near Cincinnati, Bainbridge Irish Wolfhounds is a preservation breeding program dedicated to the health, sound structure, and gentle temperament called for by the breed standard. Rather than breeding for market demand, we carefully plan each litter to emphasize longevity, intelligence, and classic sighthound athleticism. Our hounds are raised as beloved family companions and excel in AKC conformation and performance events. All Bainbridge Irish Wolfhounds undergo comprehensive health testing for hips, elbows, hearts, and eyes. All puppies are liver shut tested after they reach 9 weeks old. Generally puppies are placed in new homes at 11 or 12 weeks.

Our puppies are raised underfoot in our home, fully socialized with children, adult dogs, and other pets to ensure they grow into confident, outgoing companions. To guarantee their health and official status, every puppy undergoes liver shunt testing and is AKC-registered before transitioning to their new homes, typically between 11 and 12 weeks of age
Calm and Dignified House Pets
Bainbridge Hounds are full time in the house companions. We are very grateful our 12 IW's allow us share the family room floor.
